Let's Cut the Crap: I Know Exactly What You're Going to Do

Alright, you want the truth? You want me to give you the lowdown on steroids and how to keep your gains intact? Fine, but buckle up because you’re not going to like it.

Here’s the deal:

  • I’ve been a personal trainer for over a decade.
  • Then I became a Master Trainer—basically, the guy who runs the whole damn show for 8 or 9 gyms, mentors other trainers, the whole shebang.
  • I’ve been selling steroids since the 90s, back when AOL was telling us to “log on” to the world wide web. Hell, back before the internet was even a whisper of what it is today.

But here’s why this matters: I’ve seen it all. And I’m telling you right now—I know exactly what you’re going to do, no matter how much advice I give you. I can already predict it. You're going to ignore half of what I say. And when your cycle is done and your muscles are melting away like ice cream on a summer day, I won’t be shocked. You will.


Steroids Don’t Build Muscle. They Just Let You Build It.

Let me say this loud and clear so you don’t screw it up:

Steroids don’t build muscle. They only let you synthesize more protein, which helps build muscle.

  • When you’re natty, your body can use about 40 grams of protein at a time.
  • On steroids? Your body can utilize a hell of a lot more, but I’m not going to throw out numbers because they’ll just get misquoted. Just know this: steroids help your body process more protein.

So, what does that mean for you?

  • Eat like you're on steroids.
  • You need more protein. More calories. More amino acids. Period.
  • You think you’ll get fat by eating more? That’s your non-enhanced brain talking. No, you won’t, as long as you eat clean.

Big Mistake #1: If Your Workouts Don’t Look Like a Goddamn War, You’re Wasting Your Time

Let me paint you a picture:

  • You're on steroids. You’ve got the tools, the firepower, the ammo. You’re supposed to be a beast.
  • But if your workouts look like they did when you were off-cycle, you're NOT working out.

Here’s the thing about steroids: they let you work out longer, heavier, and more frequently. If your workouts don’t hit failure, you’re wasting your time. And don't even get me started on people who think they’re working to failure and can still write their name with a pen after the workout. No. You haven’t even come close to failure.


Big Mistake #2: The Grim Reality of Off-Cycle Lethargy

Let’s cut to the chase. After your cycle ends, you’re going to hit the inevitable post-cycle crash.

  • Your muscles aren’t firing like they used to.
  • You’re tired, sluggish, and the motivation is gone.
  • You start eating like shit—and that’s how you lose your gains. It’s a behavioral issue, not a physical one.

You’ve probably heard the joke:

  • “Mike must be off-cycle, he’s going home early today.”
  • It’s funny because it’s true.

When you’re off gear, the placebo effect fades, and you're left with a body that doesn’t want to move. That’s the real reason why you lose your gains. It’s all in your head.


The Magic Formula: PCT (Post-Cycle Therapy)

So, you’re wondering: “How the hell do I stop this from happening?” Simple. You need to run your PCT correctly.

  • PCT is the most important part of your cycle.
  • If you skip it, you're dead in the water.

But here’s the thing:

  • Guys will drop thousands on steroids.
  • They’ll ask stupid shit like, “Can I add another steroid to my stack?”
  • But when it comes to PCT, they’ll ask: “Do I really need to do that?” They’ll try to cut corners.

Let me tell you right now—if you don’t do PCT, you’re screwed.


Why PCT is the Key to Keeping Your Gains (and Your Sanity)

Listen, PCT isn’t sexy. It’s not the cool part of the cycle. It’s not something you can flex on Instagram.

  • But here’s why it’s crucial: it prevents the hormonal wreckage you’ll face once you’re off-cycle.

  • Without it, your body goes into a low-testosterone tailspin and you’ll lose motivation, energy, and ultimately, gains.

  • What happens when you’ve got low testosterone?

    • No sex drive.
    • No energy.
    • No motivation.

You want to keep your gains, right? Then RUN YOUR PCT CORRECTLY.


The Internet is a Lie: Don’t Fall for It

Let’s be clear:

  • PCT doesn’t get likes.
  • The "anti-PCT" crowd is out there, feeding you what you want to hear, not what’s true.
  • These guys tell you, “Nah, you don’t need PCT,” because that’s what you WANT to believe.
  • The truth? Science doesn’t give a shit about likes. It’s not interested in your dreams of shortcutting your way to glory.

If you skip PCT, you're setting yourself up for failure.


HCG: Use it Sparingly

HCG is another hot topic.

  • Long-term use of HCG downregulates your receptors, so you don’t want to use it all the time.
  • But during cycle, HCG can help—it maximizes your natural testosterone production.

For those with higher body fat (20% or above), you’re probably dealing with higher estrogen levels. That’s where DIM and CDG come in. These supplements help keep estrogen levels in check.

  • DIM: 100mg, 2x a day
  • CDG: 500mg, 2x a day

PCT Protocol: Follow This or Fail

  • Wait until all compounds are out of your system.
    (Use the half-life chart, dammit.)
  • Taper down your testosterone to TRT levels (80-150mg/week).
  • If you’re using Arimidex, taper it down as well. If you don’t, you’ll crash your estrogen levels.

Once all the gear has cleared, your estrogen levels are in the mid-to-high range (25-44 pg/ml), you’re good to go.
Now, start your PCT with HCG (2000 IU every 3rd day for 5 shots). Follow this up with your PCT pills (Tamoxifen, Clomiphene, Mesterolone, and Tadalafil) for 4 weeks.


The Final Word: You Can’t Cheat the System

I’ve been doing this for over 20 years. I know what you’re going to do.
You’re going to ignore half of what I’ve said, and when you come crawling back with no gains, you’ll be right where I knew you’d be. Don’t skip PCT, don’t be lazy, and for god’s sake—work out like you mean it.

Steroids are a tool. If you misuse them, they’ll bite you in the ass. But if you’re smart, you can make them work for you. Keep your head on straight, and follow the damn protocol.

Because if you don’t, you’ll be another cautionary tale in the steroid war—a lost soul chasing the dream, but never quite making it.
